The Pan Borneo Highway Sabah project involved hundreds of kilometers of roadway, multiple contractors, consultants, and government stakeholders. Managing engineering documents, design revisions, approvals, and construction information across dispersed teams created significant coordination challenges.
Without a centralized information management platform, project teams faced delays in accessing the latest project data, inconsistent document control, and limited visibility into project progress. LBU required a digital collaboration environment that could improve governance while accelerating project delivery.
Digile implemented an enterprise Project Information Management System using Bentley ProjectWise as the Common Data Environment (CDE). The platform centralized project documents, drawings, engineering models, and workflows, enabling stakeholders to collaborate securely from a single source of truth.
The implementation also supported BIM adoption by integrating digital engineering processes with project delivery workflows, improving design coordination, document control, and construction management throughout the project lifecycle.
