Oracle SaaS Cloud Engineer Trainee (Finance Domain)

Overview

We are looking for highly motivated Finance graduates who are passionate about technology and business transformation. This role is designed to develop future Oracle SaaS Cloud Engineers specializing in Oracle Financials Cloud and Oracle Procurement Cloud. 

Selected candidates will undergo structured training and mentoring to build expertise in finance business processes, Oracle Cloud applications, business analysis, solution design, testing, and customer support. 

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who want to combine their finance knowledge with cutting-edge cloud technology and build a career in ERP consulting.

Function: ERP Consulting / Oracle Cloud Applications / Finance Transformation 

  • Key Responsibilities

Finance Process Understanding 

  • Learn and understand end-to-end finance and procurement business processes including:  
  • General Ledger (GL)  
  • Accounts Payable (AP)  
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)  
  • Fixed Assets (FA)  
  • Cash Management (CM)  
  • Procurement-to-Pay (P2P)  
  • Supplier Management  
  • Expense Management  

Oracle Cloud Learning & Implementation 

  • Participate in Oracle Financials Cloud and Procurement Cloud training programs.  
  • Assist senior consultants in implementation and support projects.  
  • Learn Oracle SaaS configuration and setup activities.  
  • Support business requirement gathering and documentation.  
  • Participate in solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect management.  
  • Assist in preparing training materials and user guides.  

Customer & Project Support 

  • Support customers during project execution and post-go-live phases.  
  • Analyze business issues and propose process improvements.  
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve application issues.  
  • Participate in workshops, demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.  

Continuous Learning 

  • Complete Oracle Cloud certifications as part of the career development program.  
  • Stay updated with Oracle Cloud innovations and quarterly releases.  
  • Develop consulting, communication, and presentation skills.  

 

Required Qualifications 

Education 

Bachelor’s Degree in: 

  • Accounting  
  • Finance  
  • Commerce  
  • Business Administration  
  • Economics  
  • Management Information Systems  
  • Or related disciplines  

Academic Requirements 

  • CGPA 3.0 and above (preferred)  
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes  
  • Skills/Other Details

Technical & Functional 

  • Good understanding of accounting concepts  
  • Knowledge of financial statements and business processes  
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage but not mandatory  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

Soft Skills 

  • Excellent communication skills in English  
  • Strong learning aptitude  
  • Customer-focused mindset  
  • Team player with positive attitude  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  
  • Good presentation and documentation skills  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

Candidates with exposure to any of the following will have an added advantage: 

  • ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.)  
  • SQL or basic database concepts  
  • Business process analysis  
  • Internship experience in finance or accounting  
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA Foundation, etc.)
